Don Black, Ed.S.

Mr. Black is a second career educator who brings his experiences and enthusiasm to his role as an assistant principal for the scholars and teachers at the Ignite institute. In his spare time, Mr. Black likes to spend time with his family and friends, working on various projects, and volunteering at church. Prior to teaching, Mr. Black spent eighteen years in the private sector in Logistics, Customer Service, Credit Manager, and Office Management. Mr. Black has enjoyed sixteen years in the Education field. During this time, he was a middle school science teacher, Lego League coach, PLTW certified, and six years as an instructional coach for Boone Co. Schools.

Brian Noll, M. Ed.

Brian worked at the Kenton County Academies of Innovation & Technology in a variety of roles from 2012-2019. He served as the math teacher in the Biomedical Sciences and Engineering programs. Later, Mr. Noll became the Dean of Academic Affairs. Mr. Noll has been an assistant principal for the entire time Ignite has been open.

In his personal life, Mr. Noll has grown up and lived in Northern Kentucky his entire life. He currently resides here with his wife and 3 children. When he’s not working, he enjoys coaching his kids’ soccer teams, working out, and traveling. He is a graduate of the 2018 class of Elevate Kentucky.
