GIRLS BASKETBALL SIGNUPS!
It’s that time of year again: time for Longbranch Girls Basketball!
If your 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade daughter is interested in participating in the Lady Longhorns Basketball program, please follow the link below and complete the online registration form. There is a $20 fee for participation. The season will begin October 30th with Skillz ‘N’ Drillz Night. PRACTICES AND GAMES WILL ALWAYS BE MONDAY AND THURSDAY EVENINGS. Please keep this in mind when signing up.
The tentative game schedule is:
Game 1 – Nov. 13th
Game 2 – Nov. 20th
Game 3 – Dec. 4th
Game 4 – Dec. 11th
Game 5 – Dec. 16th
Championship Games – Dec. 20th
We are also looking for PARENT VOLUNTEER COACHES for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade teams. Our volunteer coaches are what makes this program happen, so if you (or your spouse, or another family member) ARE interested in coaching, then please sign-up! We do require that our coaches complete a BACKGROUND CHECK prior to our first practice. This can be done in the LBES office.
Signups will CLOSE on October 30th and a link will be provided for an online parent info session that evening (details to follow in the newsletter AND in your child’s “Room”). Skillz ‘n’ Drillz night will be held on Oct. 30th from 5:30 – 6:30PM. Info sheets AND schedules will be available then AND you can pay your fees via check (made out to Longbranch Elementary) or cash, so please try to attend!
